PHP2Shell?

As I use BGA every day, I was wondering whether it uses PHP and whether it has been patched to address the PHP2Shell exploits which are said to put 70% of websites at risk.

This deserves a response. A pop-up ad for a gambling site is showing up on the home page now and it appears the site is compromised.

I'm not seeing that and the site otherwise seems normal to me.
