I've noticed this a lot in some of the games I wish to play.
I will join, there is no 'level' stated on the game (I.E good and above) that is being set up and so I assume it is fine. Problem is I will press join and moments later it will tell me I have quit the game when I haven't done such a thing. I assume this means the game owner has removed me from the gaming list ... which I find rather frustrating.
If you don't want beginners then set a level that you want people to be at. Otherwise it isn't fair to refuse us as a player.
I am especially seeing this in games of Saboteur, a game I would desperately love to learn and play - but have yet to get into.
I think there needs to be a better system in place to prevent kick out of games so us beginners can get on the game ladder so to speak. Maybe have a limited number of 'kick outs' or have a status symbol beside the player to show % of 'player refusals' they have made in their game set ups so we can avoid these games/players.
