Trophies have an achievable requirement. "Finishing first in a tournament" is a specific action a player can actually do. "Highest elo" isn't, it's just a static fact, so it cannot be like trophies on BGA.Hagardunor wrote: ↑22 October 2026, 20:20I see that as a trophy, not as a skill indicator. Same when you end first in a tournament
Include highest ELO ever reached for a game in players profile

It would be for me, far more than all the chocolate medals that are handed out left and right.Ceaseless wrote: ↑28 October 2026, 00:39Trophies have an achievable requirement. You clearly did not understand my post. For a trophy, there is a "before trophy event", where you don't have the trophy, and an "after trophy event" where you do, which does not exist for highest elo.Hagardunor wrote: ↑28 October 2026, 17:38It would be for me, far more than all the chocolate medals that are handed out left and right.Ceaseless wrote: ↑28 October 2026, 00:39Trophies have an achievable requirement. There is a also a before (I never reached that level before) and an after (so sad that I got down from this level, very proud to show how far I could go with my skills and a bit of luck).Ceaseless wrote: ↑28 October 2026, 21:18You clearly did not understand my post. But that only applies if you consider each and every number separately. Should there be an Elo 373 trophy, and an Elo 374 trophy, and an Elo 375 trophy, and ...??Hagardunor wrote: ↑30 October 2026, 21:44 There is a also a before (I never reached that level before) and an after (so sad that I got down from this level, very proud to show how far I could go with my skills and a bit of luck).

You already get trophies for ELO 100, 200, 300, 500 and 700. That should be more than enough.

I'm starting to get really fed up with having to justify myself for a request that causes NO harm to anyone. Do you really have that much time to waste criticizing a request that only concerns me and others like me who just want to see their best performance displayed?

You created a thread for public discussion, you will get public discussion, some comments for, some against.

What I have some difficulties with, is why some answers absolutely try to demonstrate that my request is nonsense. Just tell "I don't like it", or "I don't need it".
If you really want to go further and advocate against my request, try to answer some of these questions before :
- Do I understand why Hagardunor would be pleased if this request was implemented ?
- will this request cause me any harm ?
- will it harm anybody else ?
- do I know if the developpers are against implementing it, whatever the reason ?
- would I feel better if this request was rejected ?
That doesn't mean I forbid any negative opinions about it (people have the right not to like it). What I can't stand is when people feel compelled to come up with bogus arguments to justify those opinions. Or maybe it's just that they're not sure of their own opinion.
