Finding Players that are new to TTA?

hello there!

i have never played Through the Ages before but i've watched about 2 hours of youtube ''how-to'' which im sure its not enough to play with the big guns here in BGA community.

im wondering if this site can help me find players that wants to learn as well.

Options i can think of:
- Open a table restricted to "Beginners" only;
- Write in table anouncement: "Learning game"; you can also do it without ELO if you like.
- Join group "Game Tutors" and write a message that you want to learn TTA. There are a lot of people willing to play and if necessary explain the game, most of the time without ELO.

Also, there are 3 forms of Through the Ages, two of which are there only for learning purposes.
So if you create a table with the Simple setting, it's highly unprobable you'll get experienced players, as they're usually looking only for Complete games.

thank you both for the replies! i'll also check out the group anytime soon

maybe ill also stick with advanced for now and hope that i know what im doing .

other than that. i guess its just learning all the strategy.
