Not Enough Pieces Left To Reach a Checkmate??

I took a pawn as white, thinking I could eventually checkmate using my two bishops and king, but instead the game immediately ended in a draw with the message "Not Enough Pieces Left To Reach a Checkmate".

Now, I'm not great at chess, but is this position truly a draw? My intuition, and the internet, seem to say that I was close to a checkmate. If I wasn't, can someone enlighten me?

I invested a good amount of time into this game and am pretty angry about it ending this way. If it is a draw, I would have liked to play out the end game and reached a draw naturally instead of BGA cutting me off. There is always room for human error that way.

This is definitely an error. Mate with 2 bishops and a king is possible.

Yes, it's a bug, sorry about that.

"insufficient material to checkmate" cases that have been implemented are K vs K, K+B vs K, K+N vs K, K+B vs K+B with all bishops standing on the same color (reference link http://www.e4ec.org/immr.html).

Trouble is likely with the last case, but I can't see anything obviously wrong with the code. I'll try to reproduce and fix this.
