Retaliatory Red Thumb

Post by qpenguin »

Is it possible for someone who has been kicked from the game (from exceeding the time limit) to give Red Thumb to other players on the table?

If the answer is yes, can I request that this "privilege" to be taken away?

if you kick someone on the final turn when they are making a hard decision ... i think the 'retaliatory' red thumb would be completely appropriate. so i don't see any need to change the current setup.

Can you check which player gives you red button? I see some people giving red buttons only because they loose to you.
I think pepole who dont write a reason for red button should get their red button back!

I just got a red thumb from a player who is upset the 3 other players did not want to abandon. He confirmed in chat that he did this because he did not get what he wanted.

When you report someone is there any thing other to do than selection the reason? I figured there would be a submit button.

This afternoon, I've got retaliation red thumbs from people conceding games, one of them only seconds before the end of game...
May be people with too many red thumbs should not been allowed themselves to give red thumbs...
And I'm not talking about the right to concede game, which I find particularly unfair and "unfun"...

People are already limited to how many red thumbs they can give, so people with lots of red thumbs can't just give retaliatory thumbs to everyone. That said, in my opinion, you really shouldn't give red thumbs to people how concede. If they abandon a game right before the end, that is a different story, but if someone admits defeat and concedes then there is nothing wrong with that.

Well, that's just what I mentioned... Conceding at the very end of the game (last season of last year in Seasons, with no explanation when requested on the chat).
We should behave online as we would do with friends, not as if we were playing with robots...
The least thing we can expect is to inform the other player at the time we have to quit a game prematurely.

So///So/// Funny. WITH red or green all bga has accomplished is more work for themselves Moderating. They are sorely understaffed and im sure more Money would help them but seriously they wont change fast enought unfortunately. But they done a hell of a Job with how this site has grown and lasted. You cant Discriminate AGAINST ANY Type of player so as long as red or green are around more problems will exist.
