AFK or "wait" button to avoid "run out of time"

Post by fede689 »

We've just finished a game where I had to go afk, and everyone agreed to wait. However, I still "ran out of time", even though I purposedly went afk, and that counts in my "runs out of time" counter against me. I think we should have an "afk" button, or a "wait" button other players can click on to accept waiting for a player that has to go afk for a while, so that won't count against him afterwards.

unless you do it in more than 10% of games, running out of time has no impact on your ability to join games. So from my perspective if someone has to go afk for a few minutes I'd generally be fine waiting, assuming this is an anomoly. On the other hand, if someone goes afk in 20% of their games, it is nice to know beforehand because I probably rather not deal with the hassle if I know someone goes afk that often. So given that, I think it is better kept the way it is.
