Unable to express disatisfaction with another player

Today, I joined a game and took an available slot. I was subsequently booted out of the game as the table administrator decided they wanted a 2 player game instead of 3 player. If that's there choice, that's fine, but it made for a bad experience for me. Anytime I have a bad experience with a player, I want to give them that feedback via a thumbs down. I think, whether its a mistake or not, for someone to open a table and then arbitrarily kick a player off for no reason other than their own mistake is rude. However, in this case, I could not give that feedback. When I went to give a thumbs down, it was stated I had not played a game with them recently and could not change their rating. This is wrong. It's not welcoming to kick people out in this fashion. It's worse that I can't let the world know my displeasure in their action.

handing out a red thumb for someone controlling their gametable is pretty unsportsmanlike behaviour. so if i could give a red thumb having never played you, i would give you a red thumb just for that. would that be fair ? probably not to most people, but it is equivalent to what you are proposing.

sometimes an apparently 'open' game table is simply a rematch table where the table inherits the settings from the previous matchup. sometimes someone looks at your ELO and decides that they are risking too much of their own ELO by keeping you at the table. the owner of the table has (AND SHOULD HAVE) full control over who gets to join and play at their table. you get kicked ? go start your own table.

I agree with senatorhung.
I, too, have been kicked out of tables for no apparent reason. I did not take it personally, I just moved on to another table.

BGA is a place to have FUN!!! Let's enjoy it and not take things too seriously.

I often see people leave the table because someone joined who they don't want to play with. Do you think that is rude too? I think it's rediculous to just open a new table without you while the result is the same - they play each other and you don't.

Red thump is for bad behaviour like being insultive, unsportsmanlike etc. What you call "kicking" is not like they do something to you, they just don't play with you. Maybe it's a bit unfriendly to just put you out and not telling you the reason - but red-thumbing for that? Seriously?
