is the site doing well? not that i mind if the expansion are premium user only since you can still play (and i don't like puerto rico much to begin with) but i'm noticing an increase of premium user only feature and i feel a little worried

well i guess they at least get more bangs for their bucks

No, Puerto Rico's expansions aren't for premium, everyone can create games with expansion.

Both of these expansions are available in the "BGA premium catalog": everyone can join a table with one of these expansions activated, but only the BGA Club members can create a table with the expansions activated. Those tables will probably fill very quickly

I saw the club page and I didn't see PR expansions. So I throught they aren't for premium, sorry.

PR extensions are for BGA Club members only (but as always, everyone can join a game with the expansion even if not a Club member).

Yes. As we previously announced, we need to create a substantial catalog of games for paying members, probably around 10-15% of the games. As it is now, +95% of the games are free, so in 2016 there will be a lot of "Club members only" releases. But please keep in mind that almost all these "not free" games couldn't have been here on BGA or any other website "for free" because of their right-owners policies. Consequently the non-members are not really missing anything anyway, and this is a real bonus for members.

I also posted a link to the up to date rule from Alea (base game + expansions). I should have done that sooner I suppose
