Timing bug concerning 1st move in Tokaido

During selection of roles in Tokaido there seems to be a timing bug.

At start of the game the time of all players should be running till they select a role.
When every player selected a role, only for the player at turn should run. This seems to be the case.

But at the starting phase something is misaccounted.

At the moment "out of time", i.e. the moment meyodin decided to skip the turn of cofunguy, both players should have some time left:
meyodin: about 32 minutes (used 59:27:30)
cofunguy: about 68 minutes (used 58:31:13)

From the statitics page http://de.boardgamearena.com#!table?table=22297161 meyodin should have used 3567 min, cofunguy should have used 3638 min. The value for the 1st player on the table (meyodin) is correct (59h27 = 3567min), but the value for the 2nd player on the table (cofunguy) is incorrect (58h31 = 3511min). The difference to the value from the statistics page ist 127 minutes, which is the difference of the times when meyodin and cofunguy selected their role.

So there is some bug in time accounting for the 1st move.

I know on my side it showed at most a -1 or -2 hours at best. I play when I can but don't " sit" on my tablet waiting for games
Meyodin claims in the game comments that I had -37 hrs.
If so that is a serious bug.

But the point of allowing a person to quit a game, namely in a tournament, should not be allowed as well. I can see it in casual games but tourneys do have the bot (or whatever does it) that ends the tourney games when one player has negative time and determines who wins. Allowing a player to quit a tourney game allows people to get cheap wins.

And I do agree that for selecting a character in Tokaido should be penalty free. BUT also you have to move the game forward too. Is it possible to have 24 hours (just saying the time..maybe allow the tourney creator be allowed to select a time for games that have player selection or placement) for both players to select. And this time to not go against the players playing time. Obviously after that player selection time is gone then count the time against the players who haven't selected. And obviously if both players select their characters (or whatever is required for setup in the game) to start the count.

It seems that the following is the bug:

Assume starting at 00:00 with 120 hours each player.
Player1 selects role at 01:00.
Player2 selects role at 03:00.
Then at 03:00 Player1 should have 119 hours left, which is correct.
Player2 should have 117 hours left, but has only 115 hours, cause in addition to the time since start of the table the time difference between role selection moment of Player1 and role selection moment of Player2 is subtracted in addition, i.e. in total twice.

Extreme example:
Start of game at 01.07.2016 00:00 with 5 days per player.
Player1 selects role at 02.07.2016 00:00, time left: 4 days.
Player2 selects role at 03.07.2016 12:00, time left: 1 day, but should be 2.5 days.

It looks like this bug affects every Tokaido game, with significant effect if one player selects role long time after the first player.
