players spamming new games

Post by lynxkewl »

Occasionally a player decides that they really love a game and start an annoyingly large number of games.

For example stefanocebotaru1 has 57 games available to play on my queue list. I don't want to remove the game from my queue, I just want to remove stefanocebotaru1's games....

Perhaps a feature could be created that a user can only have 1 of their identical games showing in the queue at a time???

Or perhaps a feature could be created that allows me to create my own filter by not allowing any of stefanocebotaru1's games to be advertised to me.

Hi, you're right, this annoying. This is binded with my topic "Filter games by specific parameters".

I also have problems occasionally when a particular player will join ANY table I create--over and over, even when they haven't finished a previous game with me. Argh.

You can try putting a note on it to please only join one of any given game at a time, which will keep some people from doing that, but unfortunately not others.

Yeah, this whole thing can be annoying, along with lack of any kind of filters. If they ever do filters to get rid of those full games, limited and restricted games, etc., player blocking would also be a nice addition. I can see why someone would want to create several of the same turn-based games, but some people get a little out of hand with it.
