Lost Cities - Card played in language of the one who played the card

Post by JollyBird »

I noticed something in Lost Cities translations:
When a player plays a card it is always only translated in the language of the player who just played the card.
For example:
PlayerX played "yellow 9" on the board.
When PlayerX is German it says: PlayerX played "gelb 9" on the board.
But when playerX is Dutch it says: PlayerX played "geel 9" on the board.
And so on.
It just depends on the language of the player who just played that card.

I have noticed similar translation issues in other games, too, at least in Koryo.
This may not happen in every match.

Is it a turn based match? I once thought it could have to do with that.

Yes, in all the turn-based Lost Cities games I play.
Hardly play any realtime games; so don't know about them.
