I have to admit, I was giddy about this. In my opinion, Madeira is the best game I have ever played, bar none.

On the not so giddy side, I have tried to play this 3 times, twice the game has forced a quit because a player has dropped out. If I invest an hour in a game then someone quits and ruins it, they probably ruin my evening on a "school night," since that was much of my free time, and I don't have time to invest in another game. Is there some way to increase the punishment for quitting heavy games? I suggest perma-ban, just kidding! (Only kidding because you can very easily set up a new account.)

Back to the giddy, the third game we agreed to quit because of what we perceived as a bug. Why is that giddy? Because by today the bug seems to be gone. Great job fixing this one up so fast! I cannot wait to finish a real time game of this! Such a great game!

It is great to see Madeira up online. It is such a great game. Well done for developing such a complex game. Sadly no 'undo' button on the game which continues to undermine BGA compared to its competitors.

This looks VERY good! However, it really needs an Undo button!

Can anyone answer this? It is an issue with a number of BGA games on a tablet/phone as the mouse roll-over function does not work on a tablet.

Well, that's a little off-topic (and has been discussed elsewhere in the forums), but here is the answer: actually that depends on your tablet and your browser; if the tablet supports a browser that offers a substitute for the cursor hovering over an element, then you are good.

For example, with an Android tablet or phone running Chrome browser, doing a "long press" on an element (for about 2 seconds) triggers the display of tooltips. Then touching anywhere else makes it disappear. I have been playing Madeira turn by turn on my Android smartphone with no trouble.

If we are talking about iPad running Safari, I'm not sure (don't have one, don't want one) but I read something about a simple tap selecting the element (and hopefully showing the tooltip), whereas a double tap will be clicking. If you can install Chrome on an iPad (not sure if that's possible with the current state of the tablet wars), I suppose that you should be able to use the long press too.

Not sure if this is the place to post this but the roll-over Mayor description does not mention the fact that you draw an income when you place on the Mayor. It should say this as this is the main reason for choosing the Mayor.

This is fantastic news! I bought the game but still haven't learned to play. This implementation is the perfect way for me to learn and enjoy before breaking out the physical board. :)
