Can't skip "out of time" players in the restored games

Post by UrzaMTG »

Back in June, almost all of the turn-based games on the website were cancelled due to a problem during the HTTPS changeover. Many of those games were restored, but the Time Left for each player was set to 130 days. It's now impossible to finish some of these games because players who "run out of time" have literally four months to come back. For example, on Seasons #20516403, one of the players has run out of time six separate times since the restore (and twice before it). They have now used nearly 50 days more than the next player. Because their total time is still positive, though, we cannot skip their turn. Is there anything that can be done about some of these tables?

I support this request. I reported a bug about game #20951174, but nothing happened.

Why do not clean entirely the BGA site from these netherending games ?

Update: a different player in that game has not taken their turn for literally a few days short of a whole month. They still have 88 days remaining.

Please, can we fix the times, or just cancel any of these tables that are still going? At this rate I don't expect this game to end until 2017.

You can cancel their tables, but could you not just automatically cancel all of them.

I've got one of these too, where someone has about 25 days positive due to that bug. So far he has come around to take his turns, even though he's gotten very slow. I'd like the opportunity to finish it if at all possible. And if not, I'll just wait til he's over time, skip his turn, and take the auto win for a game that's almost done.
