red thumb for a player with whom you didn't play

I know that now you can't give a red thumb to a player with whom you didn't play recently.
But when you try to do this you should answer several questions before you'll see the message that you can't give him a red thumb.
Also if I want to give a player a red thumb to never play with him why I should play with him to do this?

Agree, and less torancing beginners, they are TOO protected, so they want to do EVERYTHING they want.

There is an explanations for this
The Red Thumb - its a critical option. U no give Red Thump without a reason. So why can you have a reason to give a red thumb to person u never play with?
And also it opens a clear way to karma instakill a person just by forcing a lot of thumbs down to the person. And, I assume you, no one GOOD will do this, but somebody overoffencive, overoffended, pride, childish people can.
So - no, idea is absurd.

Red thumbs now don't affect your karma. They can only limit your maximum of karma if you would have a lot of them. Red thumb no more is a critical option, it's just a way to never play with a certain player. You can't give red thumbs for free, the number you can give depends on how many games you played.

to the last post I don't believe that's true that red thumbs don't effect your karma.when this started I was 14 or very bad,i worked hard to get to 73 which is average ,now my rating due to one thing red thumbs which like the old system is subjective and per opinions.i was excited to know my karma would be good .no qUits /no clocked out / no reported violation since the new system.stuck at 30 until BGA RESOLVES THIS FLAW

A karma of 73 is not average. 78% of active players have a karma above 80. Also, everyone can click on your name, and find out your karma, which at the time of me writing this is 30. That is well away from average. This may be due to the 14 quits and 13 timeouts on 387 recent games, objective information.
