Number of rounds in Lost Cities

Hi!

I searched the forum for "lost cities" and found 0 posts, so I assume this hasn't been discussed before.

Lost Cities are played over 3 rounds. But here, a game ends after the first round. I haven't found any setting for this?

I understand if perhaps many players play Lost Cities over a single round only, and I don't mind catering to that. But that really should be an option imho. If it's not possible to make it optional, I think the game should be three rounds, as per the rulebook.

Have I just missed a setting somewhere, or is it truly only possible to play a reduced game here on BGA?

I agree. Over a single game the sheer randomness of card draws can sink you, so it is a game where you need to play 3 in a row and add the scores to determine who actually played better. Also, as the OP says, this is how it is in the rulebook.

Technical point: the English rules state

After the agreed number of rounds, usually three, the game ends. The player with the most total points is the winner.

So, it is not definitely 3, but usually 3. And, yes, this should be an option for the game.

Please also enable point summary per round at the end of the game. It would be nice to have a graph of the scores over time with finer granularity (per move) as well but that's not as iportant as point summary per round.
