A question about user's languages

Hello everyone
sometimes i discover that some user can speak many languages
and some of them will be bold
like this

i don't know how to do this
or it just a bug?

If you go to your preferences to language.
First you can select your language.
Beneath that you can also select your spoken languages.
The one of the first selection wil get bold when you put that one also with spoken languages.
How I did it:
language: dutch
spoken languages: dutch, english, german.

I tried to do that,but still no use.
Even though i set my language and spoken languages as the same as you

The bolded languages generally indicate fluency. While the person may not be able to understand all idioms, they will generally be able to decipher most spelling errors and internet shorthand.
Non-bolded languages generally indicate ability to communicate in that language, but at an international level, not a native-speaker level.

Hm, not sure when BGA changed the profile interface from actually listing them as fluent to spoken...

I've been wondering about this as well since I've found no way to do this. Has the language bolding option been removed from the site?

Basically the users didn't use it : only 20% of players actually changed the spoken languages and less than 10% specified a "fluent" language. The result was that 80% of users didn't even speak any language fluently, which was stupid. So we disabled the "fluent" option.

Somehow the "bold" display remains. We may consider in the future incite players to update their language preferences, and restore the fluent option, but in the meantime it is deprecated.

Thanks, sourisdudesert, that explains it. It was bugging me, so to speak, that there was apparently a function that could not be used.
