I was pretty suspicious until the very end - "text mode" ... (?!!) -
Also "just zoom to 800% on your mobile device" is a good one!
I am sure you guys will keep making the right choices (form + functionality = good UX) for this awesome site going forward!

I went on Yucata half a year ago to play Russian Railroads and spent AN HOUR trying to figure out how even
to start playing a game and I am a software developer!

Why are you assuming it was an April Fool's Joke? The old logo is still up in the corner. And that seems like an awful pain to make those changes just for one day in order to fool people.

Not to mention that I don't think that would be very funny at all. I mostly hated all the new stuff, and in whose mind is blue text on a pink background easy to read?

But must say this logo is really more colorful and sexy.
It's like 70's movies - cameras are much warmer than now.

Althoug some innovations are nice, too much creation is not creation at all....
So it's good - site don't change EVERY day.
