Surely there needs to be an algorithm in place to ensure that you play Black or White roughly equally?

That's 65% of my last 20 games I've started as black. Now I'm evidently a pretty ropey player with much to learn, however in a game like Hive where the first player does carry a natural advantage I think this ratio makes it very difficult to get a decent experience of playing from both positions. I suppose if I play enough games those figures will even out* however this seems to be very very off-putting for new players here.
Surely it wouldn't be impossible for the lobby system to compare ratios of white & black starts for all players and award white to whomever has the lowest of the two? This doesn't seem impossible?
Just a thought! And I have to say I'm loving most of my experience here absolutely!
* Astoundingly I'm currently active in the following games. Still over 60% Black.
