Maybe this is suggested somewhere, I haven't look much, but considering the resurection potion, we would really need to see the effect of the cards in the summary to the right. I had someone play the card which you go through the pile of card to search for one with a specific sort of energy and the name of the cards were listed, but not the effects. Searching the net to see it is way too long. I didn't want to make the other players wait, so I've played my resurection potion, but it was useless, since the cards weren't interesting to me.
And there are many other cards for which it would be useful to have the description too, like when you look at the hand of a player or when you must choose a card to ask if players have it in their hand.
