The 180 seconds between general chats is a bad move

Thirty seconds was bad enough, but now we have enough players where there is a community and sometimes players like to chat as a group and not spend three minutes between responses. Why was this move made and is it possible to reverse it? I don't think players looking for more players were ever in danger of being drowned out. This just makes the whole site less community friendly.

Well, 48 hours ago there was a "battle" in the general chat that had nothing to do with games, and it was not the first time it happened.

So temporarily the limit has been increased, and in few days we will introduce a new rules for this (basically : the more message you recently sent, the bigger the delay is).

Why punish everyone?

When a battle happens, then mute those folks. Permanently, perhaps.

Those who abuse the chat service should lose access to it. Nobody else should suffer.

Wishlist: I think it would be great to allow players to post a 2nd message without delay, because sometimes you make an error in your message, and if you have to wait 30s to correct it, people reading this message are misled or confused. Thanks!
