Dragonheart - too small & dark

Didn't enjoy my first try at Dragonheart as I feel the board is too small & too dark. Should by easy enough to make board & cards bigger - and lighten them up a bit? (Its not my monitor at fault as all other games look fine.)

Yeah, this is kind of true, although I can see it well enough to play. I do sometimes zoom a bit with my browser.
