How to determine who the starting player was?

Post by achalupka »

Hi all,

In long-running, turn-based games, such as Through the Ages, its very difficult, if not impossible, to scroll back through the list of moves to determine who the starting player was. And often, it is key to know this, so you can determine exactly when the game will end. After the game is over, you can view the game log, but that doesn't seem to be available while the game is in progress.

Is there any way to find this out easily?

Thanks!

Hello !

You have a place to put text and see it everytime you open the game. So, you should something like "1st player = ???" :)
It is easy to do and really efficient

Right, thanks, I should definitely get into that habit. But when the game is 97% over, its too late for that.

For TTA the 1st player indicator is placed in the tableau.

If you look at haardavark's tableau, you can see he has "(First player)" next to his name.
