Improved statistics

I really think the statistics should show one important thing: Your highest ever rank position in each game. Ok, you have been top 10, but now have dropped to no 50. Would it not be nice if your stats show you been in the top 10? I think it would

But maybe only after there are a certain number of games played of that game in total and by you.

The best ever position will be dynamically updated. Not a graph maybe, just a column telling the best ever position by one number.

I have to agree with Cappie that something like that should only be after a certain number of games.

I'm not sure that I like the idea to begin with, but to do something like that, I'd like to feel like the people have played enough games for it to make sense. It feels like a nice idea to show off that I was once in the top 10 of some game, but I'm generally not into doing things like this just so I can show off, and I guess I am not concerned about whether someone else was once at a higher level. (In other words, I guess I'm not seeing the "why.")

But I can think of several instances when I jumped up to a high rank early in learning a game but didn't stay there, and don't think it's indicative of my playing abilities. It can be because I just happen to win a few early games and jumped up fast (and maybe already knew the game), but after playing a variety of people I settle into what is probably closer to my real skill. Or, it's a game not many people play, and your early ELO changes are pretty big jumps, and you can jump in and out of ranks. (I have started doing that with Remember When but I suspect it's going to be making some big changes and that my current 5th place has no meaning. So why should that continue to show?)

It's only shown if you go to your own statistic, it's not in the main. Thus it's not added to 'show' others, but to keep an account for yourself.

Now I have to record my own best result manually in spreadsheet.
