Thumbs down: Reason, and leave a comment on their profile

I think when you thumb down someone, it should ask for a reason.

For example:

[ ] Took a long time to take their turns / Internet problems
[ ] Plays not to win but to disrupt a player (griefing)
[ ] Rude/Offensive Behaviour
[ ] Does not pay attention to this game, picks random moves
[ ] Other (Enter a reason)

A post will be automatically made on the other players profile stating the reason. Sometimes, I wonder if I should play against a player with high thumbs downs, and I would play with them if it's for internet problems, but not others.

I agree with this. It should help stop the 'thumbs down because you beat me' problem.

I agree too, although if you have an option of "other: enter reason" it may not stop the 'thumbs down because you beat me' problem.

What would be really cool is if BGA displayed how many thumbs up and thumbs down each potential opponent has given to other players. That might be a good way to assess character.

I agree with all of the above and think this is a very good idea. It would allow more sophisticated player sociability ratings.
