Google sign in might be going away

So I just got an email from Google stating that my Google plus account will be getting deleted in April. It says:

"If you sign in to sites and apps using the Google+ Sign-in button, these buttons will stop working in the coming weeks but in some cases may be replaced by a Google Sign-in button. You'll still be able to sign in with your Google Account wherever you see Google Sign-in buttons"

So, has BGA looked into this? I assume if this goes away then I lose my account because I don't seem to have an option of linking it to an email sign in or a facebook sign in. I'd hate to lose my account over this.

Yes, Google+ will soon be toast
We are working on changing the google sign-in in order not to rely on Google+ anymore. It should be transparent for you. When it's deployed the Google+ button (red background) will be replaced by a Google button (white background).
