Abusive language is typically not moderated on this site. The moderators will usually only do anything if the player is caught swearing. Therefore players are incentivized to use abusive language in the chat and I have cancelled my premium membership as a result. I also suggest that a global and local mute be available. If the site is unable to effectively deal with this type of behavior there are many better competitors to this site that I will use.

Thanks for your brilliant comment on BGA.

To make everyone understand your message, the user"ohmygato" wrote this on the chat:

"There is no need to be an asshole, grandpa"

Then, he has been moderated for that, and since then he is complaining about our moderation policy.

Conclusion: we DO moderate abusive language (and it happens frequently that players who are complaining are the ones who should be moderated...)

I do a guess there was a history, maybe even very longr he received abusive commentary and wrote this "no need to be..." to the abuser after he could not stand it anymore and this was trying to shut up in the only language abuser understands? The whole chat might reveal the full picture and explain his opinion that abusive language tolerance is unreasobably high.

P.s. I know the recommendation not to respond to provocations.

You have sent in a total of 9 reports, 6 of which resulted in guilty verdicts.

The 3 not guilty verdicts were for, I will quote:
  • "your weird"
    "oo slow"
"but......i winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn", "yes the winner win"

I find it quite revealing that the site administrator attempts a sarcastic and condescending rebuttal to a statement about abusive language on the site.

To be clear, I agreed with and appreciated your decision many months ago to penalize my abusive language in the game chat. I believe you will find that I have not had any violations since then. It appears you have purposefully left those details out of your description.

I stand by my assertion that the moderators choose to typically not do anything about abusive language unless a player is caught swearing.

Okay, as this topic has been hijacked by a troll who has no other objective than writing fake infos about BGA moderation despite the proofs than moderators are doing their job (including concerning his own case), I'm closing this topic.

Ironically, closing this topic is another proof than moderators ARE doing their job
