Bonjour,

Thank you BGA!

Best update so far! It is harder to find easy to start tables over a variety of games, so I am less tempted to play. Hopefully this will cut down the time I use your site (way too much) and decrease my screen time (90% of which is this site).

It definitely working; I played only two games today and decided it wasn't worth the time to play a third!

Honestly, not sarcasm. I've needed a push to play less (just ask my wife).

It's more distracting than anything else, and while I am able to hide it myself with custom CSS, many players particularly on mobile won't be ;) Thanks!

(This also goes for the global navigation bar item and the various other places where "please support us" is displayed to the actual supporters)

Can you PLEASE share this CSS code? I beg you so I can hide this new interface as much as possible.

I have to say this new interface seems to add a layer of complexity that is not needed. It is evidenced by the fact that when you drill down into the individual game categories, the old style of listing appears.

I'm going to try it, but am not really happy with it. This type of game table set up is used on another board game site, and I migrated my playing over from that one to BGA when I found it. I liked BGA's old interface so much that I became a paying member.

This change will likely change that.

Old lobby was better.

If you do not know what you want to play and then see that someone you know is waiting in a game, you would be willing to join it. Now that information is hidden by default.

Yeah I found some good games(and not so interesting games, too, ofc.) when doing that.

What really annoys me about this update is that when I return to the BGA I have to manually open up those same categories every single time. Make it to maintain opened games that you already selected on previous visits. Deselecting unwanted is way easier then having to manually open everything each time.

Also you have removed option to see what online people are interested in opened games which really sucks if you wanna invite friends or if you're looking for ability to play with players of selected parameters (like ELO, green thumbs, etc). Now I have to wait and hope that there are enough people online and waste my time rather then knowing that on front.

Finally, correct me if I'm wrong, but current system removed sounds from when someone does an action on table you joined/hosted when watching from the lobby, which is annoying, again.

So many mistakes to fix.
