BETA: Arena mode (Season 0 - BETA)

I have 2 games waiting to be filled. The first was created when I pressed play but the second automatically created itself many hours later but with a different time requirement. Why did this happen... I only wanted to play one game at a time! I think it's because I changed the default time requirements in the setting.

Suggestion about Arena ranking:
show only those players, who made at least one match, not all users, who added game to favourites.

It miss a check box in the begining of the game to see if the player who open the game is always here : just now, i wait during at least 15 minutes for backgammon game, checking sometimes (and working in the same time, so with no the GBA in front of me), and the game was over before i can begin to play it, because I should have play before 1 min.

We cant be here during 15 min just to see if someone will come (usually there is nobody who is coming) ! I defintly stop arena util you give me my elo back and change this stupid missing check box

This may be a very good suggestion. We have to study all the consequences, but it may be great. Thanks.

How can I see which turn-based games on my list are in Arena-mode? Currently there seems to be no tag or other indicator.

I've timed out of 3 games today with even realising a single table had opened, I assume you will be reseting players reputation once you've fixed this oversight?

As explained before, you cannot refuse to play against the opponents assigned by Arena mode so there is no such screen.

Note that following your remark we plan to add a screen that last few seconds, to warn everyone (with sound). However, there will be no button / action required before the game launch.

How does the pairing works in terms of rank ? I explain: I'm gold and it seems I still face bronze opponents. The problem is that a victory grants then only one point, so statistically there is very few probability to keep climbing. And climbing shouldn't be done versus bronze players, so my question: wouldn't it be better if someone at rank X could NEVER be in the same table as players of rank X-2 ? I much prefer not playing rather than be paired with player two ranks below me

How does the pairing works in terms of rank ?

By clicking on the "Setting" icon next to the game box, and by checking the "Opponent level" section, you can see how it words.

By default, the system tries to match you with players within the same league, and if not it extends the search. This is something you can configure from there.

Note that we are on the second day of the current season, so that's perfectly normal that not much Gold players are available. In few weeks this won't probably be a problem anymore.
