(EXPERIMENTATION ENDED) Arena mode upgrade

I appreciate the creative attempt to generate better matchups and reduce the likelihood that players will miss the start of a game. Hats off to you!

However, now that you have declared Arena mode open again within the last hour, I received this message when trying to enter 7 Wonders during the countdown at 09:41 UTC: "Unexpected error: This is not yet possible to register to this session"

I watched the seconds on the timer tick down, refreshed several times, and still received the above error. :-(

While I have you, I will also ask where the Settings icon went.

Lastly, I didn't speak up in any of the earlier threads, but add another vote for 7 Wonders Arena to be 3-player games... alternating 3- and 4-player seasons is meaningless, as one cannot compare results of a 3-player season with a 4-player season.

It seems like after the upgrade, the most recent games are no longer available in arena mode.

We will add them during the day.

The same problems still stay. ELO players just stick to being first place and there is no reset there. Those players refuse to play and now will just play arena. You should reset ELO as well.

Also found a bug. If you finished a game then click play again, it will start loading the old timer.

What happens if 3 players wait for 1 game but there are 0 premium players and all 3 get right-of-way but after 10 minutes there is only 1 premium player? Who gets to play in that case?

Great concept!
I just started my first new arena game of terra mystica, and I'm sorted with 2 fellow bronzies and 1 silver.
Which means the new setup works!!

But please, make the opening times a little easier and relaxing for me and probably more people.
With an opening window of a minute I'm way to stressed about missing it, clicking back and forth to see if it opens.
I'm that kind of person who is just browsing through the internet, waiting for a game to start. Which means I'm surely will forget to register from time to time. Please make it an opening window of 3 or even 5 minutes, with maybe a warning that be registering you will have to play.

I am wondering why Season ends after a few months and all players rank reset.
Strong players have to repeat dull games and average plays may not reach Elite league.
I think that active players would like the termless league of standard ELO rank.

The same reason they reset rank in any league game. Because players just stop playing and stay first place forever so no one to pass them.
