(EXPERIMENTATION ENDED) Arena mode upgrade

This change has made it harder, not easier to get into a game. If I see a timer saying a game starts in 10 minutes I'm gone. That's too long to wait. My limited use of the new mode showed that the game doesn't start when the timer reaches 0:00, Instead the system waits until 0:00 to begin looking for opponents.
Keep trying, I appreciate your efforts, but this change blows.

The change seemed quite promising, and I think it is a pretty good fix, however the execution of it could be better.

For starters, I'm lost and I can't figure out how to start an arena game. I wait for the time and keep pressing on the game, but it keeps giving me a screen showing me the timetable for the arena sessions, but I can't start the game?

2 turn-based game a day is clearly not enough....

Would it be possible to at least enter multiple entries for every session?

How about for turn based game that instead of a fixed timer, you just wait that the number of players for 2-3 tables are entered and then load the tables with the best tables possible combination... not a fixed time but a fixed number of players..

After my initial suspicion of the new time-specific setup I seem to be feeling it's a good idea - at least for games played fairly frequently. But i have just had the frustrating experience of signing up for a game only available every 2 hours (Hypnosia) which never started. I wasn't surprised that there were few takers, but it would help enormously if a notice were posted when the site stops looking for a game! I was left sitting waiting for several minutes!

Maybe you should show a clock with your time as my computer seems to be not right on time.

I have no wish to come to comment on the forums, but the new arena update demands it.

Having read the "reasoning" behind it, I can say: No! You did not solve problems with this update. You only created problems.

And how would you suggest they fix things?

I gotta say so far I really like the new Arena mode but one thing I would really appreciate it if there was a way for me to see how many players are currently waiting in the arena for a game, so I know if it's worth waiting. Kinda like a waiting list? When I open a regular table I can see how many players are online who know how to play the game, that would be great for arena mode as well. It's kind of a bummer if I wait for 20 or 30 Minutes and then I'm the only player available. Otherwise great work!

you should be able to sign up ahead of the specific minute time and then if you are not online at that time you get booted.. it is annoying to try to click exactly when the mode starts..then you end up sitting and doing nothing watching clock.. maybe you should be able to be playing in simple mode while waiting for arena game time to start.
