(EXPERIMENTATION ENDED) Arena mode upgrade

So I tested to enter some game of no popular game, and it was not great. I suppose 2 hours is still not enough unfortunately

I feel like the new system is bad for average players on popular games: you haven't need much 'matchmaking' for them, and the old system was really fine.


I still don't have an opinion for no popular one, the new system seem better on paper, but it's actually worst because I can't start 15 differents no popular game waiting for one to fill.

First time I manage to press the button, wait 30 seconds and no game...now I have to wait a whole hour and MAYBE get 1 game?! Let's say this works for other games but my guess is that real time hive arena games have dropped dramatically compared to before the change!

I'm into Russian Railroads, but I seldom get a matching. For unpopular games, making matching longer than 1 hour does not help people to gather since people wont wait over an hour to play that game. So please change the max wait time to 1 hour.

I think there is a bug right now.
Play button appears less than 1 second.

I agree with that! I didn't get a real time Hive arena game since the new system was implemented.

Now the register time is only 30 secs, I think too short. A lag or something can frequently cause missing a session. I think should lengthen it, at least 2 mins or so is ok

when I try to activate it, it says you haven't allow browser's popup. But the browser haven't popup at all! So it must isn't compatible with the computer browser. Can you make a list which computer browsers are supplied, or ideally should make this option unseen when my browser not supplied

the turn based arena matches are all showing up as real time and screwing up everything...I can't step through the games like in turn based mode so I have to open every single game just to see if it is my turn! This is a huge pain to the point of making them unplayable.

I'd also like to report experiencing this.

For the turn by turn mode, i don't think waiting a session twice a day is a good idea. Personnaliy i use this mode to play several parties at the same time, and i don't like playing in real time... My evolution in the arena mode will take centuries!
(for through the ages anyway...)
