What should happen if tied a round?

I never experienced a tied round in BGA, but I experienced it twice today in another platform. It happens two players have same card and same discard total. And in that platform, I noticed no one gained point, just a empty round.
Is it correct? Should tied players in the end of a round: (a) all get a point; (b) nobody get a point; (c) play an extra round and the winner get a point?

In a full tie, all tied players win the round and get a token of affection. So says the English rulebook in my copy.
