Expelling from table and penalties because of server maintenance

Hi,

Thank you for improving server capacity so everyone can enjoy board games these days.

But sometimes weird situations happen. I created a table, player joined and the game started. But I got a server connection error and after refreshing the page I kept getting notification that server is overcrowded. So I couldnt return back, got penalty and huge elo drop.

Same happened here, at some point I got database connection error and couldnt connect back

Maybe it would be good idea to remove this kind of penalties occuring due to server issues?

Hi,
We usually remove penalities in case of a crash or capacity problem, but it's manual so it can take some time.
We are thinking about making this automatic.

Exactly the same problem!

First of all I am new in the site and they have it totally overload it this days and I did not know that was so serious. I was in a game of two people, my partner was kick out and I was alone in the server, what I needed to do, stay?

Then the next time, in the next day the sistem kick me out. And I get two e-mails at the same time telling me how the - points works. WTF! AND i even cannot contact anyone! WTF are doing?

I am so pissed. I will stop talking good about this side, when they have people around and the sever full they do not know how to manage. And we are all confined, - points should not exist, or at least not so strong! I lost -20 for leaving without me wanting one game, and I need to play 20 games to get them back! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happened to me last evening: I lost connection (making my last move, no less), and aftter refreshing the page couldn't get in because of server overload (~16K users). OK, @#$% happens, but today I get a warning mail stating system was stable and I will be penalized for leaving the game. That's not cool.

Same situation again, I cannot connect to the server, my opponent expells me immediately after I run out of time and I lose a lot of ELO points:

Could you remove the ELO points impact of this table?

The same thing happened to me several points.
The los of ELO-points nor the los of the games I can live with.
The penalties en worse th dameged reputation because the server is not up to it, that bothers me a lot.

Would is not be prudent that penalties are suspended as long as the conection to the server problem is not solved?

My pc crashed and I got penalised
