Being poorly rated when game crashes or disconnects

Why do you get a poor rating if a game you start then crashes? Seems like an unfair rating system that allows mean spirited people to rubbish your profile simply because of connection issues...

See that little search box in the upper right corner? Yeah, search on "connection issues" and look at the 30 or so threads that have already discussed this.
