Coronavirus impact on BGA

The problem I am having is that I am planning a game and the overload of the sever kicks me out or my playing partner, making me leave as I cannot continue the game. I am just new and today I already have -20 points. WTF. This is not my fault, I got two emails explaining me the points system and the next email I already had -20. This sucks. Do not give premium if you do not want, but at least do not remove -20 points because there are technical problems.

Like a lot of recent users, I discovered this site while looking for an alternative to an in-person game night due to social isolation requirements. What a great site! We had a great game night thanks to BGA.

I just wanted to say that at $4/mo, the cost of the site is extremely reasonable and I don't think you should offer the premium service for free... both BGA and the game publishers need to have viable economic model to keep operating, or we'll all suffer.

If you had to increase the cost of the service moderately to deal with the server load, that would also be reasonable (though you mentioned this was not something that could be fixed by scaling out to more servers).

Thanks again... this site and the collection of games are invaluable right now.

Hello,
Thank you for BGA. I enjoy this site a lot. I am a premium member and can only now and then play a game, I just wait and wait and wait and after 20 min. waiting I am in an ARENA game. This is no fun anymore. I know you do your best, but as a paying member I don't think free members should go first. Maybe set the stop for free members at 1000 before limits are reached, so paying members are able to play, when they come online.
Sorry about the complaint, I really appreciate all you do to keep this site going. I do not play all day games, I work, I study, and about 2 or 3 times a day I come online to play one or two games. I hope you can make the progress faster for premium members.
