BGA Sandbox, some questions

Hello everyone. I'm new to trying to develope with BGA and I'm trying wrap my head around this whole process so figured I would start with BGA Sandbox, creating a simple game, adding in some scripts, etc. But had some questions or concerns, maybe someone can help.

1. I don't see a lot of posts in the forum about Sandbox recently. Is Sandbox used by many and have any games been created with it? Or is a waste of time? It seems like a great way to get going with all the scripts available, etc.

2. Is 4 player count the highest you can go in a Sandbox game? I can't seem to find anyplace to change the player count to anything higher.

Thank you, and I appreciate the help. I'm going to dig back in and hopefully not have too many more questions. If there are any other resources out there besides the SandboxScripts page, please let me know.

Our focus is not really on the studio at the moment but very quickly:

- sandbox was added some years ago to the studio to see if developers liked the concept and managed to get games going with it
- it didn't gain traction, and no game has been produced at this date by volunteer developers
- we still like it as an internal tool to quickly develop some simple games (such as abstracts; the latest game developed with sandbox was Siam), because it's actually fun to use the Sandbox and it can be a pretty quick development tool if the game is well suited to the Sandbox
- most games are currently developed using directly "BGA studio" ie coding directly, which offers more flexibility (basically no other limitation than the developer's skills)

So in the current state of things, if you want to build up skills to implement complex games I wouldn't recommend spending too much time with the sandbox.

I would advise Sandbox only if your focus is bringing to BGA a simple game that you love (simple mechanics, not a lot of interface elements, easy to fit in a small display).
