Quitting Games & Reputation

Hi everyone

Hope you're all well and keeping safe.

Quick question ... I've joined a game with 3 other players (who I don't know). Only 2 of us have confirmed, the person who set up the game and myself. I've been sat here for over 20 minutes and the other 2 players still haven't confirmed. I've messaged the the other guy a couple of times and got no reply.

If I quit the game now, will my reputation take a hit?

From my understanding the game had yet not started as you were waiting for the third player to confirm. If that was the case, in my expriences you will not lose reputation or get any penalties if you leave.

Thanks very much for the reply ... I eventually got tired of waiting and quit the game. It didn't affect my rep

spielte gerade , Senet #69976439. Bei mir zeigte es an der Gegner ist am Zug. Was war ich bekam wieder eine Zeitstrafe. Man kann doch nicht nach jedem Zug F% drücken um zu schauen wer dran ist. Aber das war gestern bei Oh Hell ja auch schon so. Das nervt gewaltig.

You should not get penalised - or even get sent an email as I was - if you quit a game before it starts - suggest this as a future change.

We were a family (closed) group and had played 6 Nimmt and decided to change to Perudo however it was far too easy to restart Nimmt by mistake. Almost did it twice - maybe it could be a bit more intuitive?

We all agreed to quit and try to get Perudo again so need for emails or penalties!

You have to 'abandon' the game in that case, via the in-game menu.

No, you will not take a hit. You only take a hit if the game has started, and then only if you are not the first person.
