"You did not open this table for joining yet"

Help! My friend & I are both premium members. She has created a table for 2 different games with me and now they are NOT appearing on her Table at all and on mine they both say "You did not open this table for joining yet." When I click on the game on my table it takes me to a page that says "Configuring a new game table" but nothing ever changes.

What am I doing wrong?! Can I force the Open Table button to appear?

I assume that your friend is amyaustin17?

It's strange, because BGA says that you're playing 4 turn-based games and Amy has 5, but the game list shows 2 for you and 3 for her. So, these games are not publicly visible, somehow.

But Amy, as creator, should see the games in her lobby. If these are turn-based games, please have her check her lobby settings. Has she switched to real-time, for any reason? Then she won't see turn-based games.

If that's not the problem, and YOU still can open the tables, you could send her a link. Open the table and copy the address from the address bar of your browser. Then paste it into your personal chat with Amy. This should definitively give her the opportunity to join.

I do see 4 games in my lobby but the 2 problem ones are shaded pink. How do we change lobby settings? I don't see that under preferences or on the table page at all.

Sorry for coming back so late.

The lobby has three buttons at the top. Side by side on a big screen, or one over the other on small screens.

(1) Simple Game / Arena / Tournaments

(2) Real-Time / Turn based

(3) Manual / Automatic

Button 1 switches between the 3 playing areas: One game by your choice, game with arena points or the list of planned/running/completed tournaments.

Button 2 switches between timing modes. Realtime-Games are played in minutes, Turn-bases Games over several days. The list of tables is filtered by games with these modes.

Button 3 in automatic mode hides the tables and just chooses an opponent automatically

But I am not an admin, so I can't really tell you what's going on. The games are probably gone by now, but if it happens again, it might help if you post the table number (visible in the link to the table).
