How to tell which player will go first

I may be missing something, but is there an easy way to tell which player is going to play the first card in the round (during the bidding phase)?

If not, it would be helpful to mark them in some way, e.g. a triangular arrow pointing to that player.

It is the one following the dealer, who is marked with a card next to his name.
