However, many games are pretty naff with 2 players.
I'm putting my thoughts about this in a blog posts series, starting here:

If you're willing to manage the tracking yourself, you can organize a tournament and coordinate it e.g. through the forum, or Discord, or whatever other collaboration site where all players have access. I'll soon post a blog entry with some hints for 3-players games, using this for tracking:

With 16 participants for Twin Tin Bots, you can adopt the following scheduling of 4-players matches over 5 rounds - everybody gets to play against everyone else exactly once in the tournament. I can help you adapt the 3-players version if you're interested.
round 1:
( 1, 2, 3, 4)
( 5, 8, 11, 14)
( 6, 9, 12, 15)
( 7, 10, 13, 16)
round 2:
( 1, 5, 6, 7)
( 2, 8, 12, 16)
( 3, 9, 13, 14)
( 4, 10, 11, 15)
round 3:
( 1, 8, 9, 10)
( 2, 5, 13, 15)
( 3, 6, 11, 16)
( 4, 7, 12, 14)
round 4:
( 1, 11, 12, 13)
( 2, 6, 10, 14)
( 3, 7, 8, 15)
( 4, 5, 9, 16)
round 5:
( 1, 14, 15, 16)
( 2, 7, 9, 11)
( 3, 5, 10, 12)
( 4, 6, 8, 13)
