More Getting Started Step by Step

I am a professional developer (python and AI), so very use to github and version control and developing software. I am new to PHP, but HTML, CSS and JS I am pretty familiar with. I use VS Code for everything so that is solid.

I am really struggling getting going and I am VERY excited about getting through the tutorial so I can start to work on a real game. I have to admit I am having so many issues with just getting reversi working from the base code on the site. No changes at all, and it won't work, often no allowing me to create a game and when I do the second user (me +1) can't "accept" the request. This is basic and I hate asking, but if I could get a more featured "getting started" or more basic "tutorial" on youtube or in the docs I am sure I can get going.

Also whenever I create a game, even ones based on others like Reversi, it creates a bunch of files but then gives permission errors creating others. I can SFTP and download them (or at least I think those are all), but again stuck as I can't see the server side like in git or github.

Thoughts on getting going? Anything more basic on instructions to help?

There is seems to be some systematic failure, if you look at forum posts there are bunch of people cannot create project or games because of access rules. Admins have to look at that, unfortunately they very busy with service scalability and stability now... Normally its not like that

ok, thank you for letting me know. If I can get to a steady state of it working, I can do almost anything, but getting the starter project stable I am not sure what is going on. It sounds like it is a bigger problem. Thank you for your comments!

I don't know if you saw previous posts, but it seems to be an errors when you invite other people (even its your accounts) to the game.
Just press express start when you create a table on studio. If it does not work specify exact steps on what you doing,
