Renaming players in friends list

I keep forgetting who's who in my friends list.
It would be useful to be able to add a nickname or rename them so I know that "Stephan" is online instead of "Frenchy"

While it doesn't show up everywhere, I've found writing a personal note about someone does help. Go to Frenchy's profile and write a personal note that says "I know them as Stephan in the physical world." Any time they join one of your tables you'll see this note, and it also is only a click away when you get the notification that Frenchy is online.

I agree that we should be able to add our own names for people, in addition to a note.

I'd even prefer that the name I assigned was the only name I saw for the person.
