Set up a private Carcassone game , possible?

Post by MartyMorrisey »

Hi there ,

If I sign up for premium is it possible for me to organize a carcassonne game for 2 non premium friends and lock the room to all other players ?

Is that how this site works?

Thanks

Yes, it is possible. That's the short answer.

Now, the long, overly complicated answer.
When setting up a table, the table creator can restrict the players to the people they have listed as their friends, or they can invite the friends that they want to play. This should be done before opening the table to other players. Any table creator can do this.

Carcassone is a premium game, meaning that it takes a premium member to set up a table but non-premium members can play the game. The premium member setting up the table can still restrict players around the table, including specifying friends only.

After finishing a game we have the option to replay. Have used this a couple of times and find that I get confused as to how to start the new games without somehow having a couple of tables start or somehow have different players join in. The idea being that the same group of friends would be in the next game. Is there a how to section somewhere that I can't find? The other night the ensuing confusion with other new bga members ended up with one of my friends somehow ending up on a different table.
