Bias for Premium members ...?

Post by Sgt Suckage »

Erm, is it just me, but has anyone else noticed a bias in the favour of Premium Players on these games?

So, as an example, a Premium Player rolling 13 sevens to beat be on Cant Stop, when I was one move from the top on sevens. Kind of makes a mockery of the games really ...

You mean bias with regards to dice rolling? and luck?
That absolutely doesn't make any sense, here's why

A 6 roll in some games could be bad and in others be good, depending on situations, you'll need to have an AI that reads the situation and gets a good roll that also can't be too suspicious. And you'll have to program it for every game. And after all of this hard work, you're not even making more people go premium since you're trying to hide that system in the first place. (So they don't know of its existence) so you're gaining nothing, but also wasting tons of time and effort on doing complex manipulation that defeats the purpose of the site in the first place. This absolutely doesn't make any sense. I think it is just randomness being random.

I'm a premium member. I wish this were true. You should see my Stone Age rolls.

Something that very much happens in Can't Stop, premium or not. I play a lot of people who try and shoot all the way in one go. Sometimes they succeed and it feels pretty annoying to be on the wrong end of it, especially when you're progressing well in a tournament! I've also come back from near death on a few occasions (non-premium). Try not to take it personally, it's games.

I rewatched the game, and it looks like it just was a temporary display issue with the fourth marker - it can‘t be seen in the replay anymore. Did you try a reload there already before you abandonned?
On a side note: You stop waaay too early in almost all cases.
