Please, please, please don't block translations to alpha games. 
Here's why:
I've just requested Tarokk (a Hungarian game) to go to alpha.
To the best of my knowledge, there are only a handful of people who have ever played this in English (and the vast majority of those were taught by me a good while ago and probably no longer remember too much of the fringe details).
If I am to find reviewers who can comment on the functional part (including those pesky fringe details!) besides the usability & consistency with guidelines etc. (which any seasoned BGA veteran will be able to judge), I'm absolutely going to need a number of Hungarian speakers, including some who don't speak English, or do but would be unduly confused by having to play the game using the English terminology.
