Zoom function

Post by dibog »

Hello,

probably asked a lot, but I think it is a very important accessibility feature.

I would like to be able to zoom into the play material, like cards. And I don't want to just Ctrl+MouseWheel with the Browser,
as the game assets like card images have not very high resolution and just get blury and not more readable.

Is there any special reason this is not possible?

Otherwise a great gaming platform. I really think this is the major feature I dearly miss.

Best regards,
Dieter

In some games, the game elements (cards, tiles, ...) are not displayed at full size because it would take too much screen space, but there are tooltips with full size images. But this may not be the case for the games you're talking about, because if it was the case, I think that when zooming you should see the images with a good resolution.

In some games, the reason is that there are a lot of cards, that are all downloaded at the beginning of a game, and high resolution images would result in a huge download for slow internet connections.

In some games, maybe the developer didn't have access to high resolution images.

In any case, this is not a problem that can be dealt with for the whole site, it will be different for each game.

They should not just take pictures of game cards but make up new ones in many cases that are easy to read.
