Why I write this: I like Tzolk'in very much and even if generally I'm much more a friend of 3+ player games (because usually it's more dynamic as some moves are less predictable if you have more than one direct opponent) I generally like competition, so I play Tzolkin in arena. But. I ALWAYS (yes, with Capitals) playing with "Synapse". He has an Elo of 700+ and some fance league rang I can only see after a game match, but it's also far above me.
Of course, hie ALWAYS wins (and meanwhile I'm just click away the turns, as it's just frustrating).
This is now fun for me, this is no fun for him and I completly don't understand why a elite player is matching with a bronze-0 player (of course, I have no chance to get a single point as I always am matched with him). I even can't resign.
I now waited a week or two, hoping that he will earn more points so the algorithm that matches players finally to match a 0-point with Top-Player. Then I
started a new game, I was matched already after a few seconds and again with synapse.
I really don't know or imagine wich rules lead that matching, but PLEASE change it. Make some barriers that just don't match players in far away leagues. It much better NOT to find an opponent at all than to be forced to play a game in that way.
Sorry for capitals, but this is really, really a frustrating thing, and if this in not only incredible bad luck in my case, then it's for sure a reason why people that are interested in arena will still not use it.
