Newbie - Can I learn all games by playing a 'bot'?

Post by Commander H »

I would like to learn how to play and practice new games without upsetting other players if I decide to quit. Is this possible? Plus I am new to this platform so at this stage, I am not bothered about rankings, its just a game.

Also I imagine it takes a while to learn to detail within a game, best done in your own time as some games get a bit fast, I can only imagine as I have only played 2 so far - with remote family.

You can play in training mode, in which there are no penalties or timelimits.
There are no bots for the games other than 'Can't stop'.

You can also join Game tutors group, to find nice people that don't mind playing with beginners. (you may also be interested in Talkative and friendly games group)
If you don't mind playing turn-based games, it's also a good way to learn the interface of a game.
Bots are hard to develop, that's why there are almost no bots here.
Some day, maybe there will be tutorials to learn most games.

If you are Premium you can play yourself via the Hotseat feature. Certainly helps me learn games without the pressure of other players.
