going back on a move

hello - just started playing on bga and cant work out how to change my mind and retract a counter before the end of my move ;)

There is no undo for Backgammon on BGA.

Does BGA know that this feature would be an improvement and mimic a real game?

The short answer to that is: yes, BGA does know.

The longer answer to that is: you could always try suggesting it again and see whether their perspective now, in light of other games with an undo function, is different.
